I
liked the approach you took in the March/April issue [2005, "Amen,
Sister"] of "Weird Sisters West," not simply bemoaning the scary
religious right but framing your approach in highlighting supportive,
caring, inclusive people and places. People need those reminders and
options. The interview with Revs. Alicia and Sharon was very good.

What a great paper --
interesting, intelligent, provocative articles ... As I dig my way out
of
post-election depression, I continue to cling to my belief that
humanity
gradually progresses and evolves in spite of temporary setbacks. Keep
up the
good work with your newspaper. With affection and solidarity,

We loved the
Sept/Oct 2004 issue of Weird
Sisters.
“Queer-lish” was fun and “It’s a Civil Rights Thing” was also very
good. We
especially enjoyed sharing “On the Merry-go-round” with friends who are
just
starting their family! We enjoyed the Nov [2004] issue as well and had
it read
the second day we had it. Thank you for your hard work.

Thank
you so much for the great paper you put out... it's so wonderful to get
a lesbian/feminist paper in the mail that has local & national
news. Even better, you have Dykes to Watch Out For!
You are all wonderful! Thanks for a great uplift to my spirits when I see that manila envelope in the mail.

Wow.
The May issue [2005, "Melee"] is quite good. Both the Abe Lincoln and
Lynne Cheney articles surprised me! And the [Linda] Sutton piece
["Sweet Woman'] is right on. I had thought about most of it, but I
think she very articulately pulls it together so that I have more
clarity now. Please tell her I said, "Thanks!"

Just read the latest
issue
[December 2004] of Weird Sisters and appreciate the post-election
analysis and
calls to action. I appreciate the paper's commitment to linking issues
and
communities seeking
social change.

Weird Sisters just
gets better
and better. I love to have a connection to a special. group of
people. When a new issue arrives, I sit down and literally devour it
front to back. It's like a good chat with long-term genuine friends.
Keep up
the good work --
thanks so much for publishing a wonderful “creation.”

Your interview with
Vietnam Vets for Kerry ("Outcome, "November, 2004) is profound and
should be exposed nationally. It's so clear and complete as you
deal with events in Vietnam, and the men today, including our wished
for President.
